My art was selected for this exhibition. A huge honor. In early 2024, the New Mexico State Committee of The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMC) met with Turner Carroll Gallery to explore possibilities for a bold new initiative –
a world-class, biennial exhibition of the women artists who are the hidden gems of
New Mexico’s contemporary art scene. Three jurors reviewed artwork submitted by 172 women-identifying artists who are residents of New
Mexico and NMC registry members. 33 were selected for the exhibition.
